Ref: CA26023 Clinical Advisor — UK/International
We are currently seeking to further expand our team in the midlands by recruiting a Clinical Advisor — UK/International. The successful applicant will provide research support for patient-reported outcomes (e.g. quality of life).
The Clinical Advisor’s responsibilities include the following::
- Working with clinicians in Intervention modelling and design;
- Capturing and documenting intervention treatment protocols ;
- Preparation of documents for clients and development review;
- Liaison with external agencies;
- Interviewing of patients and clinicians;
- Preparation of reports, manuscripts and abstracts.
Ideal applicants will have a good first degree, plus a postgraduate qualification in a relevant area, such as health psychology or public health research. Preference will be given to candidates able to demonstrate NHS experience, research skills, experience in developing and client relationships and some understanding of the use of patient reported outcomes in health care decision making. Publication or presentation of prior research work would be an advantage.
Applicants must also be able to offer:
- Experience of conducting research (including literature reviews) from the initial concept through the stages of implementation and reporting;
- Competence in the interpretation of qualitative and quantitative analysis, including some understanding of basic statistical and psychometric methods;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write scientific documents accurately, concisely, with attention to detail and in an appropriate style;
- The ability to deliver good quality work to stringent deadlines;
- The aptitude to work well within a team whilst showing initiative and being able to work independently when required;
- Flexibility with the capacity to adapt to different situations;
- Pro-activity and the facility to think critically and take appropriate action.

We are currently seeking to further expand our UK team by recruiting a Business Development Manager — UK/International. The successful applicant will drive business in the Private and Public sector with key focus on new market entry including corporate sales.
The BDMs responsibilities include the following:
- New market research and targeting of niche sectors;
- Prospecting new direct and indirect customers in the corporate, healthcare insurance and voluntary sector;
- Manage key customer relationships;
- Responsibility for a target of between £500,000 and £1,000,000 per annum.
Ideal applicants will have a good first degree, experience in a sales in the corporate, public health or the NHS sector. Preference will be given to candidates able to demonstrate a track record of sales results, experience in developing and growing customer relationships and the ability to influence health care decision making.
Applicants must also be able to offer:
- Demonstrable competence in the implementation and understanding of the sales process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write sales proposals and documents accurately, concisely, with attention to detail and in an appropriate style;
- The ability to hit targets while delivering quality work to stringent deadlines;
- The aptitude to work well within a team whilst showing initiative and being able to work independently when required;
- Flexibility with the capacity to adapt to different situations;
- Pro-activity and the facility to think critically and take appropriate action.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
